Annual Lewis B. Smedes Conference

The 2011 Lewis B. Smedes Conference on Foster Care & Adoption is an annual Child S.H.A.R.E. event sponsored by Fuller Theological Seminary President, Dr. Richard J. Mouw and L.A. County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.

Parents, social workers, counseling and ministry professionals, students, and those interested in foster care and adoption are invited to attend and receive resources and training.

Registration Costs are as follows:

$15 – Child S.H.A.R.E. Parents (any parent who is part of the Child S.H.A.R.E. network)

$20 – Students (undergraduate and graduate)

$35 – All Other Participants

Discount $10 discount per registrant is offered to groups of 10 or more.  To receive discounted rate, group registration must be completed over the phone by contacting the Director of Family Support, Amanda Bell at 818.649.8016.

*Restriction: Child S.H.A.R.E. families are not eligible for the $10 per person group discount rate for groups of 10 registering together, due to the already deeply discounted registration cost.

Childcare: A limited number of childcare spaces are available during the conference at a rate of $25 per family.  Childcare is limited to children aged 11 and under.  To reserve childcare, please email smedes@childshare.org or call Amanda Bell at 818.649-8016, by October 31, 2011.
