How much does it cost to be a member of Team Child S.H.A.R.E.?

Absolutely nothing! You will just pay for your LA Marathon Registration fee.  It is important to note that as an Official Charity, Child S.H.A.R.E. receives no financial benefit from the LA Marathon Registration fees.

There is no minimum fundraising amount required and Child S.H.A.R.E. will provide all Team members with personalized fundraising tools as well as training support.  Runners and walkers in the full LA Marathon will enjoy lounging in an executive suite at Dodgers Stadium to rest, stretch, enjoy breakfast and share in prayer before the start of the race.

How do I form a Team?

Ask your friends, family and co-workers to join you in supporting Child S.H.A.R.E. by running or walking in the LA Marathon 2-Person Charity Relay, full LA Marathon or LA Marathon 5K.

Make it an office event.  Gather a team from your church.  No matter what the case, just remember to register yourself and assist your team members in registering with the LA Marathon or LA Marathon 5K and Team Child S.H.A.R.E.

Next, on behalf of your team, go out and raise sponsorships.

  • $250 – Sponsors family support and resources for one month
  • $100 – Helps to welcome a child into a new home
  • $50 – Helps to find a family
