Have you ever found yourself moved by a story you heard?  Have any of the stories that touched you included stories of children who are in foster care?  Have you head about the thousands of children who are waiting for families?  Or are you waiting for a child to become a part of your family?

Now is the time to step forward and transform the life of a child in foster care.  Child S.H.A.R.E. invites you to a special event to learn about foster care and adoption. At the event, you will hear from families who are currently fostering and have adopted.  We welcome you to come and meet these wonderful families and hear their stories.  They will tell you all about the joys they have experienced as foster and adoptive parents, as well as their challenges.  This is your chance to get an authentic glimpse at the transformation that occurs when an abused child finds a safe and loving family.

I know all about this transformation, as I grew up in a home where my parents and my Grandmother were foster parents.  The experience growing up with kids in foster care has greatly impacted my life and I am honored to share that joy and experience with others.  It is my hope that everyone will have an opportunity to experience the joy of fostering a child in need.  You won’t want to miss this unique event.
